Default Lgin error in courier imap

Dear all,
I have configured the virtual mail server for vexim with courier imap adn i am getting in my log help me to solve this problem .Thanks in advance

Maybe your courier-authlib (authdaemond) isn't running, or it is but it can't talk to whatever user database you're using to authenticate against. Check your authdaemonrc file, and any other logs (often /var/log/mail.*)
