Hello,
I am working on a project,in which i have received below work. 1) Implementation of a QMAIL Server with "Horde/squirrelmail/roundcube" webmail. 2) QMail with POP & IMAP - Both type of support. 3) As per the customer requirement, we need to build cluster on mail server. The company will be giving us two server hardware. They want to make redundancy on both mail servers. It means, if any of the mail server go down, the company won't get any downtime. Now, what i understand is:- 1) Implementation of QMail MTA with webmail service on both server hardware. 2) implementation of "HA" heartbeat to maintain redundancy. I have implemented "HA" heartbeat on apache "httpd" & it works fine. But, i don't have any exposure on Mail Server Synchronization. So, kindly let me know how to share same mail server data on both servers? 3) Suppose, I create a new mail server user on "server1", how the user profile will reflect on "server2" automatically? This will be an automatic process or manual process? Kindly respond. Nishith Vyas |

You can't HA needs at least 5 hardware devices (assuming that everything is software based). 2 for la0, 2 mail servers and 1 central storage server. There are other solution but those are not true HAs.
