We have Redhatlinux el4 and the postfix is configured as the MTA.outlook 2007 is used as MUA.After configuring the outlook 2007 if i click the test mail settings i am receiving error while sending the message from outlook as unerror.but the receiving is ok.Kindly need the solution.

Hi Ramji,
Please check outgoing server name is right? Then you have enable the MY outgoing server(SMTP) requires authentication. on tools > email account > more settings. Let me know for furhter clarification. Siva Sivakumar.e@gmail.com

Hi Sivakumar,
If i make a check in the my outgoing server requires authentication it is givingerror as check ur email address.But the email address for the user is correct.If i remove the check mark i can able to receive mails. With Regards, Ramji
