Hi all,
Scenario: I had two lease lines 1) 128 Kbps and 2) 512 Kbps which are configured to eth0 and eth1 on linux 9 respectively. This both internet traffic i want to distribute into the network with eth2. 10 users should be directed to eth0 through eth2 and remaining user should be directed to eth1. Can anybody help me to define this iptables rules. Thanks and Warm Regards, Brijesh Thanks and Warm Regards, Brijesh Chougule |

You may use Squid proxy for distributing your connection. Better way I will use the word " Bandwidth" for it.
In Squid Proxy a facility is available to define groups and assgin them pools of desired bandwidth defined using Buckets. If you need to allow x group (May be 10 users ) 128Kbps bandwidth and all others remainig 512Kbps, then you can do so using above method. If you require any other kind of solution please give me details about it. Sameer |
