Nevery mind that post above please. I figure out the dd if command, and it works fine. It is slow but it meets my needs. Thanks anyway.
By the way, I have a another question about linux and windows server--how can they talk together. My network has domain controller running on windows 2003 server. I'd like to add a linux box joining to the domain and that linux box serves as a file server. So, the users must first get authenticated with active directory on domain controller for accessing data file on the linux box. Right now, my file server is also windows 2003 server, and I would like to get rid of it. I don't know if this is possible or not. Please insert your input if you can think of something, and I really appreciate that. Thank you. |
