Smile HD recovery software for linux

Hi!, very first post on this forum

I'm looking for a software tool for linux to do data recovery. Something that works like Ontrack EasyRecovery. i've searched the net for a while to find something like it, but didnt find anything remotely close to it, so i started to look at my bookmarks and remembered nixcraft, which help me out a few times before, so here I am hoping for some help.

I've had a hd failure, which might be just a grub problem, but after trying to fix it i was tired of it and needed the pc working, so i poped another hd in and resinstalled my OS. I use ubuntu and so my hd are formated with ext3, and that is not something EasyRecovery can read properly.

Any help would be apreciated.

Rodrigo.

Hi rslrdx,
Don’t panic! Try Linux Data Recovery Software. It helps to recover data lost from Ext2 & Ext3 File System. Linux data recovery software is a practicable solution for the recovery of data lost due to corrupt MBR, corrupt Super block, corrupt BGD, accidental file deletion and other reasons. You can try the demo of the utility to see if the software can recover your lost data.

I have used once Stellar Phoenix Linux Data Recovery Software with a good result. You can try this utility by downloading the demo from: Linux Data Recovery Software for Ext2, Ext3 Volume Recovery - Stellar Phoenix Demo shows the preview of the recovered data.
This data recovery software also provides partition recovery. The software scans the disk to find previously existing partitions and restore the file(, allowing Linux Partition Data Recovery.

Hope this tool will help you out.

This thread should be deleted. It is nothing but spam. Look at all one time poster and companies trying to sell recovery software.
