Default Hi

Just wondering why do you want to use rlogin instead of ssh for secure shell? Anyway, if you use ssh, port to open on the firewall redhat is 22, and port for rlogin is 513. I highly recommend you use ssh for remote access. Good luck.

Yup, I agree with lacloai, use ssh. Try following resources if you are new to SSH

Howto Linux / UNIX setup SSH with DSA public key authentication (password less login)

SSH Public key based authentication - Howto

How to Tunnel X Windows Securely over SSH

How to: Allow telnet and ssh through iptables under Linux

Don't use rlogin or other r services they are insecure.
