Default Install Yum on RHEL 4.

Hello All,

cat /proc/version gives the followin info on my box.

Linux version 2.6.9-5.ELsmp (bhcompile@decompose.build.redhat.com) (gcc version 3.4.3 20041212 (Red Hat 3.4.3-9.EL4)) #1 SMP Wed Jan 5 19:30:39 EST 2005

I have a problem installing Yum utility on my box. My question is, is it possible to install Yum, if so could you provide the requirement and steps to install it.

rpm -q python

python-2.3.4-14

thank you...
