Default Prevent using old password

Hi,

I am using SuSe10, and I follow the link. After that, I tested it and see if it lets me change the password to the one that I got last time. It did.

So, I don't know if SuSe needs to configure differently? I tried both on /etc/pam.d/common-password and /etc/pam.d/common-auth. Does anyone know how to make it work on SuSe? I really appreciate that. Thanks a lot.

I’m sure procedure may be the same but you may need to edit different files. Also be careful with PAM wrong configuration can lock down everything including root access.
