Default error : unexpected inconsistency

Hi , i shutdown my pc directly. after rebooting it gives following error

[/b]/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00 : Unexpected Inconsistency;
Run fsck manually without -a -p option
i haverun e2fsck -y command but it wont works please tell the solution.[/quote]

Use vgck to check volume group metadata
Code:
vgck  -v VolumeGroupName

Try above first if that fails try / Run e2fsck:
Code:
e2fsck -y -f /dev/XXX
Replace /dev/XXX with actual device name.
