I don't think so NFS put any client restrictions. A server resource only limits you, IMPO.

yes, it might be the server resources would be the limitation. all i can find after so much time google'ng is that a single client can mount up to 255 NFS file system.
maybe it will also point to the number of avaliable network ports. since each nfs mount is bind to a certain network port, so whatever the number of network ports would be the basis for the maximum mount request. another problem is, how can i determine the number of network ports? thanks, warren |
