Ok I see xfs service under Linux. What does it do? Do I need to keep this service
or can I remove it safely? thanks in advance

xfs is X font server i.e. itis the X Window System font server. It supplies fonts to X Window System display servers.
Usually you do need this service. No need to remove xfs from your system.
