I've got this server I'm monitoring
it has 6 GB of RAM but... The system only gives a value of 4 GB because that's the support limit but it is able to use more than 4 GB My mib browser gets a value of 4 gb of ram Is it possible to do OID memsize + 2000 so it will still graph a value of 6000 to the graph on total memory size??? |

I'm using 2 OID
They are non identical This means 1 meassures the commited mem 1 meassures the total memory I want the last one to be 2000 higher than the actual value but the first one is gotta stay the same Is there a way to use 2 oid's in one graph on a different multiplecation Factor??????? |

I found out how i can add mathemetical formula's to my mrtg cfg file
Gotta use a dummy OID OID0 is a oid that always gives a 0 value target[ABC]: [OID1]&[OID0] because mrtg will always take 2 OID to apply the mathemetical formula to you'll need a dummy OID see it like this OID1+ OID0 = OID1 OID2+ OID0 = OID2 because i now got 4 OID's to work with i can calculate with the last 2 OID2 + OID0 = OID2 + 2000 |

It will only graph 2 line to the graph
but it is just that I used 2 OID's per line so I can make a mathemetical calculation on a single OID instead of making the calculation on both OID's YES it's working in fact my hole mrtg configuration is working perfectly now you don't have to change the newbie stuff I actually don't care much Thanks for all the help setting up my mrtg configuration Really appreciate it I'll check the forum ones in a while to see if i can answer questions for people |
