Default Identify new devices

Hi,

How to identify a new device in Fedora Core I with out rebooting the machine. For ex, if I add a disk to the machine, how can I make the machine identify the disk online.

Will Kudzu work for this also.

Kudzu should work. It is depend upon which hardware you are using some hardware are hotplug like usb they are used as soon as they plug in and use them immediately Otherwise you need to reboot system
