Dear All.
I am looking fot Auto FTP for Linux. What exactly I want is , I alrady have auto ftp installed on Windows Server and this server sync all the data with another server which is located at remote site. Is there any way to do it in Linux ? Regards. Linux

How much functionality are you looking for? E.g. does it need to dial up to the internet or are you permanenly on? Does it have to be FTP?
http://samba.anu.edu.au/rsync/ This program uses SSH and can copy files incrementaly. But it's not FTP. |

Use ncftpget command. For example see:
Download all file from ftp server recursively: http://www.cyberciti.biz/nixcraft/vi...e-from-ftp.php Upload the files and directory tree to remote ftp server: http://www.cyberciti.biz/nixcraft/vi...ctory-tree.php |
