Default Permission Problems on WIKI Farm

Hi guys
Well I've got a new problem!
So i just made a wiki farm on our previously installed wiki, and i want diferent password on each wiki, since they're for 2 diferent projects with to diferent project maintainers.
let me explain in detail:

i got to directories.

/~wip/wiki --> for the wip project
and
/wiki --> for the qwerty project (this is an alias for a directory on the hd)

and for some reason /~wip is getting its permissions and password from /wiki

any ideas?

UPDATE:

this happens because the permissions are associated to /var/local/lib/internal-wiki and not to /~wip/wiki and /wiki

this is done on the apache conf.

anybody know what i should do?

I am sorry but i am not getting your problem.

Do you have two directories?
/~wip/wiki
/wiki

Do you have .htaccess file for both of these directories with different user name?

Monk, I don’t think so he is talking about password protected directory.

He just copied all files from old installation in new directory (read as alia. And he wants to access both of these installation with different username and password. Wiki has its own user management and nothing to do with apache.

Since you need to diffrent wiki I suggest:
Download wiki software
Install in new directory
Create a new database
Install wiki

Do not copy old software, as it will use old database and settings. Let me know if this helps or not...
