Is eth1 is up? Type command ifconfig eth1 and put back output here. Hoep your current routing table is correct

Run following command and remove everything, enter new values, reboot system (it is GUI tool and easy to use for RHEL):
Code:
redhat-config-network

According to my personal experience this error can be cause if
1) You have wrong static route tables

So you need to setup correct routing table. As rocky pointed out use GUI command and it will be easy for you to setup things.

Dear Alll.

Thank you very much.
It was the problem with gateway. They had given me gateway off different network so I give a gateway of same network but when i give route command it shows the gateway of another network.

Well my problem is solved thanks, nixCraft

Default SIOCADDRT network unreachable

one other source of these errors are duplicate static entries - check your rcN.d directory script files (e.g. S99local, S99addRoute for duplicate entries ...
