Hi,
Do you want information for DNS client or server? DNS Client == Used for internet browsing and sending email DNS Server == Used for serving domain names for local or rest of the world. For example host domain called foobar.com and setup DNS Lemme know

Dns Configuration On Red Hat Linux As4
Hi,
I have one very basic query. When i will be accessing the internet on my server do i require the DNS configuration? If yes may you tell me the steps or the files in which the configuration for it has to be made. In order to run ceratin services i give the hostname as 127.0.0.1 . If i need to change it for DNS confuguration i have to go back at /etc/hosts file.Kindly help
