Any one no how i enable a usb mic
i use my creative sound card for my sound and i have a usb mic which when i used to use windows windows would set my mic as default sound input and output when i plugged it in. which i used to just change in the sound setting. when i plug it in to linux (fedora core 5) it just see as a mic which is good but i can t seem to figure out how to get my sound card to handle just output sound and my mic to be the mic If you see what i mean prob something silly but i can t see it |

My experience with USB mic is very bad. You are lucky enough to get mic detected.. just wondering what make (model) you are using.. aka find out for me using dmesg | grep -i usb.
I wanna use my USB headset
