Default Linux usb keyboard does not work

Hai all,

When booting my system, my USB keyboard does not work at the boot loader screen. The keyboard works fine once the system boots. Is there any way to fix this? As some time i need to select XP. I am using Debian but before that i had Fedora/Red hat linux, but same problem..

Goto BIOS > Look for USB keyboard legacy mode

Next, Enable USB keyboard legacy mode in the BIOS.

Save and restart your computer.

This should help, but some bios do not have this option then you may need to upgrade BIOS or use PS/2 keyboard.
