Default Number of Visits in AWStats!

Hello !

I am using AWStats to generate statistics for my site.I am using update from browser. If i visit my website and update the statistics, my number of visit is counted if the time gap between my previous visit and new visit is one hour.

The visits to the site within one hour are not counted. Are there any type of settings which will enable the count update of every visit i made within one hour?.

Thanks in advance

You need to setup cron job that update stats every 5/10 mins. For example here is cron job i run:

Code:
10 * * * * /usr/local/awstats/tools/awstats_buildstaticpages.pl -config=www.cyberciti.biz -update -awstatsprog=/usr/local/awstats/wwwroot/cgi-bin/awstats.pl -dir=/home/httpd/vhosts/cyberciti.biz/httpdocs/tools/awstats/ >/dev/null 2>&1

honey bee, why your supervisor don't wanna use cron jon. Here at my work place we update all (over 100+ site every 24 hrs using webalizer and awstats...

I think awstats can update stats when you run as cgi-bin you need to click on update button.. did you clicked on update button?
