Default NTP syncronizing time with server wrong

Anyone have a problem with NTP syncronizing time with the internet server wrong, after completely install Fedora core 6.0 with an option to syncronize the time with the server.

Any suggestion?

Do you see any error message? Did you configured NTP?

Make sure date is set to correct and rerun ntp client

I have also experinced the same issue. Eventhough the entries in /etc/ntp.conf are correct. When I stop ntpd service and run the command
ntpdate -u servername

I am getting the message no server found for synchronization.

Any idea?

Restart ntp service or use server IP address
