i am using Red hat linux and i went to readhat.com but not able to find out hardware hcl. I am looking to purchase new laptop and i just wanna make sure that it should work with my red hat linux laptop

You need following url to visit Red hat HCL:
https://hardware.redhat.com/hwcert/index.cgi As far as linux laptop is concern you need to be careful about two things first is wireless driver support and another is display. You need to ask linux laptop vendor abut all the device info and check it against Red Hat HCL see http://www.linux-laptop.net/ for more information. |
