Hi there,
also here you can use the command: "setup" to enable services. Or just enter /etc/init.d/telnet start If its not yet installed: yum -y install telnet. But why would you like to use telnet if you can use the much more secure ssh? |

Hi,
Please follow the steps to enable the telnet in the RHEL4: check for the telnet-server rpm is installed by#rpm -qa | grep telnet-server. if it not installed. Install it from the RHEL4 fourth CD by #rpm -ivh telnet-server<version>.rpm.Recommended to use ssh instead of Telnet. since telnet is not secure. |
