Default Utility to monitor wireless signal

Hi,

Does anyone know any utility that can be used to see the wireless signal strength and available access points in linux, especially for Ubuntu? Please help. Thank you.

To view the properties of a network connection, right-click on the applet (on task bar upper left corner), then choose Properties.

Or just double click the Network connection ICON. See attached image. If you need something else letme know..
