Fedora, redhat linux:
You need to modify /etc/inittab file, make sure, it has initdefault set to 5: Code:
vi /etc/inittab Code:
id:5:initdefault: if you are using Debian make sure you have /etc/init.d/gdm soft link to /etc/rc2.d (if you are using 2 as default runlevel under Debian) Code:
ln -s /etc/init.d/gdm /etc/rc2.d/S99gdm |
