Hi All:

I am using Squid proxy, I want to upload some files using ftp, but I am getting following error.

ftp://abc.com/pub is read only because proxy server is not set up to allow full access.

I can upload the files using another proxy server and I am having rw access to the ftp site. I want to upload it using Internet explorer.

I have tried following options:

ftp://usernameassword@abc.com , but no luck.
Any solution on this?

See your squid log files or post them here. You also need to make sure something like as follows exists if blocked by some rule

acl ftp proto FTP
...
http_access allow ftp
....
..

But check squid logs files first
