hi all,

From that url it seem that traffic was too high at that time via ftp download, or someone using page grabber program. This can be also trigger via worms or virus which can try to connect MySQL or httpd server. The only way you can get this info is from access log files of httpd or mysql.
Genrally I insalles tool called ntop which is best to investage this kind of problems. It just not gives graphs but generates detailed information such as connection source and target ports, traffic, time, date etc. Install this tool on your server. Mrtg is bandwidth monitoring tool and hence it show what ever interface or ip it can fetch and generate graph for it. If you have a more questions feel free to ask! |
