I'm new to ubuntu please give me a link or info enabling sshd under ubuntu? I don't know how to do it; i'm sure it will be simple but not able to find out

If you don't have ssh server installed then run command (it is ok to run following command even if it is installed) :

Code:

apt-get install ssh openssh-server

it will start automatically go to client system and tyep

Code:

ssh your-ubuntu-server-ip

if it is your IP address is 192.168.1.10 then

Code:

ssh 192.168.1.10

You can also connect to ssh server from windows using putty client, download online: http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~s.../download.html
