Default Musicindiaonline on Firefox

I have Firefox 1.0.7, the default version that comes with the Ubuntu typical package. I installed realplayer and symlinked nphelix.so and nphelix.so in my .mozilla/plugins directory and symlinked to realplay in my home directory.

Now the problem is, online streaming plays in Raaga and does not play in Musicindiaonline . Any fellowmen successful in making MIO streaming work ?

Can you play realplayer from shell prompt? For example

Code:
realplay file.rm
If you can play from shell prompt then we can fix your problem, and if you got any errors then replay back here...

The problem is not with playing realmedia files within the computer, but embedded real media in the browser

Since you can play rm file directly it means you don't have any gcc and other shared library issues. I don't have problem to play streaming using real player, i'm using FireFox 1.7, RealPlayer 10.5 under Debian Linux. Update your version of realplayer and place following two files in directory filefox directory

My firefox installed in /opt/firefox directory and realplayer in /op/realplayer:

Copy nphelix.so to your Mozilla plugins directory
Code:
cp /opt/realplayer/mozilla/nphelix.so /opt/firefox/plugins
Copy nphelix.xpt to your Mozilla components directory
Code:
cp /opt/realplayer/mozilla/nphelix.xpt /opt/firefox/components
Make sure /opt/realplayer in your PATH, put following line in your /home/your/.bash_profile file

Code:
export PATH=$PATH:/opt/realplayer
Restart firefox and you should able to enjoy streaming music Don't forget to replace /opt/realplayer and /opt/firefox with your own actual path in above commands!
