SHOUTcast D.N.A.S. v1.9.8 server is currently up and private, inside WAN, stream is up at 32 kbps with 19 of 40 listeners (18 unique). The listener is linux box(production server as well, yeah I know...) with VLC player runing all the time. Now and then those machines are being restarted, X session crashes or whatever, and someone(read it me) have to manually run the playlist remotely via VNC. It's getting on my nerves. Started to look for alternative, non-gui, command line based software that can play the stream, 6am-10pm, autostart after reboot, basicly set it up and forget about. Any clue how to get around?
