You will have to remove the partition where you have installed Linux by running some partition magic software of Windows.

Default Ya windows CD's will not detect

This is a know issue.. What you can do is..
boot the system with Linux CD and delete all the partitions and then boot with windows CD. Defiantly now system will detect windows cd and you can do fresh installation.. please let us know if this issue got resolved.

To restore a Windows mbr on disk You have to boot Your computer from Windows cd and when time comes (seen on screen) press R to get to the recovery console.Choose Your Windows installation and enter administrator's password.Next enter:

Code:
fixboot
and
Code:
fixmbr
Now Your installed Windows should boot if it's not broken. This will let You save Your Windows system without reinstalling it.
You can now make sure the partition layout is the way You want by using ex. GParted or some other partition manager that can see Linux partitions and swap which I assume You want to get rid of.
