I have a machine with 2 scsi dat72 tape drives on fedora
it finds the drives as dm-0 and dm-1 I am trying to copy files to them but is not working how do i set these up to enable me to back up to them Thanks MadMacher |

What commands you are using to copy to tape device? Usually tape device name is /dev/st0, so running following should give you our information about 1st tape device:

mt -f /dev/st0 status
