Red Hat Unable to run Firefox 3
I m using rhel-4..and i m new to linux.
I've downloaded the new version of Firefox 3..extracted it to newfolder in desktop..and clicked on firfox nothing happned.and from terminal if i type firefox, the older version starts. How can I run this new firefox 3 version under RHEL 4? Please advise. Last edited by nixcraft; 08-27-2008 at 03:13 PM.. Reason: typo and removed sms lingo

Ankuar,
Do you see any error on the screen? I think file name is firefox-bin and not just firefox. So open terminal go to Firefox3 installtion directory and run firefox-bin Code:
./firefox-bin

You need to install package called xulrunner which provides the XUL Runtime environment for Gecko applications including Firefox.
