Hi,

We do have Disk Defragmanter in Windows to defragment FAt32 and NTFS file systems. Do we have any tool or builtin too for RHEL 3/4/5 to accomplish the same for ext2/3 fielsystems?

File fragmentation mainly happens in filesystems which contain some large files. You don't have to worry about your /usr or /var directory being fragmented, since they don't contain many large files.

May be following will help
Linux.com :: Resizing and defragmenting Linux filesystems
polishlinux.org Defragmentation of Linux Filesystems
