Why do you need to use windows media player on Linux? Linux has much better players that can play any format. Try mplayer and vlc. Both can play almost any file format / DVD / CD / movies and music. Are there any specific reasons for using windows media player under Linux?
Download links VLC - DAG: vlc RPM packages for Red Hat, CentOS and Fedora Mplayer - DAG: mplayer RPM packages for Red Hat, CentOS and Fedora |

You need to configure RPM repo see following url
