Hello,
Case 1) I want to convert the characterset of file from utf-8 to iso-8859-1 I used following command : iconv -f utf-8 -t iso-8859-1 one.new.html > two.new.html got following error : "illegal input sequence at position 2146 Case 2) Also after the conversion I have checked the character type of file is still showing utf-8 Command to check the character type : iconv filename Any comment will be appreciated... Thank you. |
