I have a problem. I am using a Brother MFC-240C (best ink setup I have tried) on a M$ box. The 2 options I know about for installing drivers is kprinter (I am using KDE 3.5.5) and http://localhost:631/admin. The problem I am having is kprinter, although detects printer via samba doesn't like something about the ppd file and therefore does not fully install, and http://localhost:631/admin can install everything fine except that it doesn't like my password for root or username, and therefore doesn't install (the password is good because it works for everything else). Anyone have a solution?
