problem in adding ip route
hi all,
I just wanted to know whether Class B address with Class C mask is supported in hp-ux routing entry,as Im facing the problem while adding an routing entryi.e; ip route 172.21.1.0 mask 255.255.255.0 172.16.1.3 1 in this 172.21.1.0 is my remote network connected through a leased line with the gateway 172.16.1.3 being my router.whenever I try to add this entry it gives a error mesage stating invalid subnet mask. hope u guys got my point if u have any suggestion please mail it my id ranjith_83533@rediffmail.com or u can reply to the same forum regards, Ranjith
