fedora DS Cleint Authentication?????

I have configured a Fedora DS and was able to run it without any issue.
When I tried to setup the client (UBUNTU) and tried to bind to the Server I can see output #getent passwd I can easily see the output as:
-----------------------------------------------chirag:*:529:529:LOSS:/home/ckumar:/bin/bash
rkumar:*:580:580:rajat kumar:/home/rkumar:/bin/bash
------------------------------------------------

But when I am trying to login by the same id and password in the same machine then "Access Denied" is displayed???????

Any help in this regard !!!!!
