I'm trying to install ubuntu on my new Dell E1405. Am using the alternative cd, the hash check is fine and disk check is fine, but it got hung up after 85% during install.
I'm using rescue mode to work this out, and I get the following error: "a shell (/bin/sh -i) was found on your root file system (/dev/sda2), but an error was found while running it." I hit continue and I get this: "<_pSLsys_getkey: EIO error" I need all kinds of help, am a complete "newbie" at this. thank you! |
