I don't anything about OOPS but squid is the best on Linux and UNIX as a proxy server. Let me know if you need information about Squid

yeah i need some support in order to have best performance, do you know any kernel tweaks? FS tweaks? TCP optimization that works well with Debian Etch 4.0

also what about refresh patterns, if u have amazing list...

i'll be highly appreciated

SquidFaq - SquidWiki has lot of information about squid and other stuff. Hope this helps.
