HI ALL,
i am not able to find out problem with my hardware or software.i hope probably it ll be problem of hardware.but my "badblocks" command doesn't give any bad sectors in my SCSI harddisk. my problem is: while i am analysing my harddisk using smartctl utilityy it give the following error in /var/log/messages Sep 14 16:18:21 myserver smartd[1969]: Device: /dev/sda, SMART Failure: HARDWARE IMPENDING FAILURE TOO MANY BLOCK REASSIGNS Sep 14 16:48:21 myserver smartd[1969]: Device: /dev/sda, SMART Failure: HARDWARE IMPENDING FAILURE TOO MANY BLOCK REASSIGNS thanks, aaru |
