Default Howto Ubuntu Linux editing admin or root configuration files

Ubuntu Linux is one of the best distro out there. You can edit the files with vi or vim command. For example edit /etc/resolv.conf file, you need to type command:
Code:
sudo vi /etc/resolv.conf
sudo vim /etc/resolv.conf
This method is fine but if you need to modify multiple files, you need to type sudo 100 times. To get rid of this problem you sudo bash command.
Code:
sudo bash
Now edit the files:
Code:
vi /etc/file1
vi /etc/file2
vi /etc/file3
Hope this helps to all newbie out there
