Default Sensing the port on RHEL AS4

How can i check the status of port on RHEL AS4? I will be a favour if you let me know about the commands for this.

To display open port and related program use netstat command. Must run as the root user:
Code:
 netstat -tulpn
To list all established connections
Code:
netstat -nat | grep ESTA

Default Checking the status of port on another Linux machine

Hi,
If i need to check the status of the port on other Linux machine from my Linux machine. How can i do this? Kindly help.
