Almost all diagnostic and debugging utilities,such as crash, SystemTap, oprofile, and gdb etc need the "debuginfo" version of a package to be installed and fully functional.
To install kernel-debuginfo type: Code:
yum --enablerepo rhel-debuginfo install kernel-debuginfo-2.6.18-8.el5 Code:
yum --enablerepo rhel-debuginfo install {Package-name}
