hi everyone!!!
my squid proxy is not limiting bandwidth for users... my sample squid.conf file is as follows:- acl magicwords url_regex -i .rpm .exe .iso .avi .mp3 .tar.gz .tar delay_pools 1 delay_class 1 2 delay_parameters 1 5000/15000 5000/15000 delay_access allow magicwords now when i start downloading(from one of the client machine an .iso or .rpm file its downloading proceeds at the same rate as before at around 230 kbps...but it should have been actually reduced to 5 kbps after 15 kb of download as per my understanding... can anyone help me out... |
