Default keep networking permanent

i have Ubuntu 8 on my laptop with a wireless card Intel 4965. I configure the wireless card and it's working fine but every time i reboot the system all configuration is gone and i have to do over everything , i want to know if there's a way to keep my configuration permanent like in windows where i don't have to reconnect my wireless card after restarting the system.

You need to use network manager along with libpam-keyring. Install the package and configure it from network manager
Code:
sudo apt-get install libpam-keyring
