Hello Friends,

This question is related to "Linux SYSLOG Server" With "Fortigate Firewall"

Our office is having 20 Fortigate Firewall hardware device,which is working smoothly.

Now,I am a new joinee for this company & I want to monitor all "Fortigate Firewall System Logs" on my linux PC,which is connected locally.

Fortigate Firewall Make : FG-60B

This firewall is having SNMP & SYSLOG facility & I want to get "SYSLOG" log messages of each firewall onto my Linux Syslog Server.

It means,
Either linux syslog server will fetch/sync. data from fortigate OR

OR

Fortigate Firewall will give "syslog" data to Linux Server.

So,kindly tell me How to create Syslog Server on Linux & How to Get Log Messages from the firewall.

I am using Fedora 7,i386 OS as a Linux platform.
