Hi vivek,
when I do #mysqladmin -u root -p[list=1] <NEWPASSWD> i get the following error: mysqladmin: connect to server at 'localhost' failed error: 'Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)' I get the above error with password: No also!! What has happened is this: I run moodle content management server on an FC5 box. Y'day, for some reason I cannot login to moodle anymore, neither as admin or as a student. I assumed mysql tables are corrupted, so, to repair the tables I tried to access mysql. Whenever I do so, I get the above error. Can you help here? Will post how the squid installation went over the weekend. Thanks /raghuram |
